How do I store compostable packaging correctly?

Compostable packaging is hygroscopic, so it absorbs moisture from the air. Store it the same way you would store food.

• Keep cases in a dry, cool room away from damp walls, steam and direct sunlight.
• Raise cases off the floor on pallets or shelving rather than leaving them on concrete.
• Rotate stock so older cases are used first, and always check for moisture or staining before opening a case.

Storage in a hot, damp environment can make packaging unusable, and we cannot credit stock that has been stored incorrectly.
