What is the difference between OK compost HOME and OK compost INDUSTRIAL?
Both are TÜV Austria certifications that sit above the EN 13432 baseline, but they test in different conditions.
- OK compost HOME — tested in a 20–30°C home compost heap with regular turning. Items with this mark can go in your garden compost bin.
- OK compost INDUSTRIAL — tested in a facility at 55–60°C with a full aeration cycle. Items with this mark need commercial composting.
