Which boxes are suitable for hot food?

For hot food we recommend our bagasse range, which holds heat to 100°C and is safe in the oven and microwave.

• Bagasse takeaway boxes — the best choice for curries, noodles and hot wraps.
• Fibre boxes — good for hot meals up to 90°C, not for oven use.
• PLA clear containers — cold service only; they soften above 55°C.

Always vent hot food before closing the lid so steam does not build up and weaken the board.
